According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Road Safety Service, scammers have begun offering paid "services" that allegedly erase drivers' penalty points from the government database.
Zoyir Yuldoshev, head of the agency's press service, said the penalty point system operates automatically, is fully protected against unauthorized access and does not allow records to be deleted or altered manually.
He noted that the fraudsters promote their schemes through Telegram channels, where they publish fabricated conversations and videos featuring supposedly satisfied customers to convince users that the service works.
In one such video, a man claims that after making a payment, all of his penalty points disappeared from government platforms, including my.gov.uz, as well as from the system used by traffic police officers.
The Road Safety Service said these claims are false and urged citizens not to trust such offers. Drivers who encounter similar schemes are encouraged to report them immediately to the internal affairs authorities.
Yuldoshev also said that more than 700 drivers have already accumulated over 12 penalty points. Proceedings to revoke their driving licenses are currently underway in accordance with the law.
