The hotline, available via the short number 1246, is currently operating in a test mode, the agency said.
According to the agency, all reports will be handled confidentially.
Citizens can use the hotline to seek assistance or report suspected physical, psychological or sexual abuse, child neglect, as well as any other circumstances that may pose a risk to a child's life or health.
The agency also urged the public not to remain indifferent to such cases and to report any suspected threats to children's safety. It said every report received through the hotline will be reviewed by specialists.
