According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, proposals were accepted between July 15 and August 3. During that period, residents across the country submitted more than 23,500 initiatives aimed at addressing local issues.
The next stage of the initiative will run from August 4 to 18, when all submitted projects will be reviewed and evaluated against the established selection criteria.
The ministry said the Open Budget program gives residents an opportunity to directly influence local development priorities through citizen-led project proposals.
