The total value of beef imports reached $359.5 million during the January – June period. Compared with the same period last year, import volumes increased by 6,000 tons, or 9.1%.
India was the country's largest beef supplier, exporting 33,900 tons to Uzbekistan in the first six months of the year. Belarus ranked second with 19,600 tons, followed by Kazakhstan with 10,600 tons and Pakistan with 4,000 tons. Another 4,000 tons were imported from other countries.
The figures show that India, Belarus and Kazakhstan were Uzbekistan's three largest beef suppliers during the first half of 2026.
