According to data from the National Statistics Committee, between January and June, Uzbekistan produced 614,200 tonnes of motor gasoline, up 6% from 579,700 tonnes in the same period of 2025. Despite the annual increase, gasoline production remained 9.1% below the 675,900 tonnes recorded in the first half of 2024.

Hydrocarbon production continued to fall. Natural gas output dropped 16.4% year on year to 18.3 billion cubic meters, while oil production declined 3.1% to 313,800 tonnes. Gas condensate production fell 19.7% to 462,100 tonnes.

Compared with the first half of 2024, the declines were steeper. Natural gas production fell 18.7%, oil output decreased 13.9%, and gas condensate production dropped 26.1%.

Coal production also declined. Uzbekistan produced 2.5 million tonnes in January–June, down 16.7% from 3 million tonnes a year earlier and 3.8% from 2.6 million tonnes in the same period of 2024.

Production of Portland cement and diesel fuel continued to grow for the third consecutive year. Portland cement output reached 10.1 million tonnes, up 2% from 9.9 million tonnes in 2025 and 31.2% from 7.7 million tonnes in 2024.

Diesel production rose 2.1% year on year to 568,000 tonnes, compared with 556,400 tonnes in 2025. The figure was 12.5% higher than the 505,100 tonnes recorded in 2024.

Electricity generation increased by 5.7% during the reporting period to 44.14 billion kWh. The growth was driven by small businesses, which increased electricity generation by 36.7% to 14.31 billion kWh.

Large enterprises, meanwhile, reduced their electricity generation by 4.6% to 29.83 billion kWh.

Heat production by large enterprises also declined, falling 18.1% to 9.28 million gigacalories.
