The reports of Haydarov’s dismissal first emerged on social media and were later confirmed to Kun.uz by the two sources.
One source said the decision was linked to an incident in which a subordinate police officer allegedly sustained serious injuries.
Kun.uz contacted Interior Ministry spokesman Shokhrukh Giyosov for comment. He neither confirmed nor denied the reports.
Kun.uz also approached Hayot Shamsutdinov, spokesman for the Prosecutor General’s Office, for comment on the reported injury to the Interior Ministry employee, but received no response.
Haydarov was appointed head of the Syrdarya regional Department of Internal Affairs in March 2025 and was subsequently promoted to the rank of colonel.
Born in Kazakhstan in 1983, Haydarov graduated from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 2004. He later headed the Departments of Internal Affairs in Tashkent’s Mirzo Ulugbek and Yakkasaray districts.
