The Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov met Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili in Batumi to discuss measures to deepen the two countries’ strategic partnership and expand bilateral cooperation.

The talks focused on implementing agreements reached during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s state visit to Georgia on July 2–3, 2026.

The officials also considered joint projects in trade and the economy, transport and logistics, tourism, and education.

The sides exchanged views on cooperation between Uzbekistan and Georgia within international organizations.
