The figure increased by 5,500 people, or 27%, compared with the same period last year.
Of the German visitors, 23,138 travelled for tourism, while 1,481 came to visit relatives and 1,286 travelled for business purposes.
A further 132 visitors came for commercial purposes, 54 for study and one for medical treatment.
