‘The Order was presented to the President of Uzbekistan by President Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia in recognition of his outstanding contribution to strengthening multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Serbia’, the message reads.
Expressing his gratitude for the honor, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said he viewed it as a symbol of the Serbian people’s respect for Uzbekistan and of the growing friendship and commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties.
Serbia awards the Order of the Republic of Serbia to prominent foreign figures for outstanding contributions to peace, cooperation, and mutual understanding, as well as to developing friendly relations with Serbia.
