The Uzbek delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Madrakhimov, while the Polish side was headed by Wojciech Zajączkowski, Undersecretary of State at Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The talks covered the development of bilateral ties in political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian fields, as well as other areas of mutual interest.
Particular attention was given to expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation. The sides discussed exchanges of visits between relevant ministries and companies from the two countries as a way to strengthen practical ties.
The delegations also exchanged views on current international and regional issues and confirmed their mutual interest in closer coordination within the United Nations, the European Union and other multilateral international organizations.
The two sides agreed to maintain regular dialogue aimed at further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland.
