The agreement was reached during a meeting between Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov and Mahendra R. Nair, GE Aerospace’s Vice President for Global Commercial Sales, in Samarkand on October 19.
The discussions focused on opportunities for cooperation in aviation workforce development amid growing demand for qualified specialists in the sector.
Under the agreement, the two sides will work together to develop training programs aimed at preparing new personnel and improving the professional qualifications of existing aviation specialists.
