Turkey introduces visa-free regime for Uzbek road carriers
President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signed a decree abolishing entry visas for Uzbek road carriers for a period of 30 days, the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.
“As part of the practical implementation of the intergovernmental agreement on the international road transport of passengers and goods, signed during the visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkey on October 25, 2017, the Turkish government canceled entry visas for Uzbek road carriers for a period of 30 days,” the statement reads.
The corresponding decree was inked on May 9 by the Turkish President and entered into force on May 10, 2019.
