Russia appoints new Ambassador to Uzbekistan
Russia has appointed a new Ambassador to Uzbekistan.
Oleg Malginov has become Russia’s new Ambassador to Uzbekistan. Prior to his appointment, Malginov had served as Director of the Department for Interaction with Compatriots Abroad.
The corresponding decree of the Russian President was published on the portal publication.pravo.gov.ru.
By another decree, Vladimir Putin dismissed Vladimir Tyurdenev, who since 2009 had served as the Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan.
