Uzbekistan appoints new Consul General in Aktau
In accordance with a relevant decree of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Atabek Tursynbekov has been appointed Consul General of Uzbekistan in Aktau (Kazakhstan).
This was announced by the official representative of the Foreign Ministry, Yusuf Kabuljanov.
Atabek Tursynbekov was born in 1987 in Nukus. In 2009-2017, he worked in various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Karakalpakstan.
In 2017-2021, he was the first secretary of the Uzbek Embassy in Tajikistan.
It should be recalled that the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Aktau opened in August 2019. It includes Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan and Mangistau regions of Kazakhstan.
