Deputy FM Arziyev to become Uzbekistan’s ambassador to China
Farhod Arziyev, First Deputy Foreign Minister, will be Uzbekistan’s new ambassador to China.

According to reports, the Chinese Foreign Ministry has approved his candidacy. He is expected to leave for the Chinese capital, Beijing, in January.
It is not known yet who will replace Arziyev at the ministry as First Deputy FM.
Former Uzbek ambassador to China Bakhtiyor Saidov was appointed Minister of Public Education on November 17.
Farhod Arziyev worked as a counselor at the Uzbek Embassy in Germany, in May 2017 he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to India, and in February 2020 he was appointed First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
