Police detain citizen of Tajikistan for storing 15 kg of hashish in apartment in Tashkent region

Almost 15 kg of hashish was found in the apartment of a citizen of Tajikistan in the Tashkent region, the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Tashkent region reports.

On November 2, during the operational-search activity in the Bekabad district, a 29-year-old citizen of Tajikistan was detained. The apartment in which he temporarily lived was inspected in the presence of attesting witnesses.

As a result of the search operation, 14.9 kg of hashish was found in the bedroom of the apartment and seized as material evidence.

On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 5, Article 273 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
