The enterprise produces essential tools for implementing digital government services and developing secure and convenient payment systems for citizens’ daily needs. Production includes microprocessor modules for identification, SIM cards, as well as transport, social and international payment cards.

The project is valued at $15 million and occupies an area of 4 hectares within the Eltech Industrial Technopark. Vades Group is collaborating with Germany’s Infineon Technologies. Currently, the second phase of construction is 15% complete, with $7 million of investment already absorbed.

The project is expected to create around 100 new jobs and enable $6 million in annual exports. Once fully operational, the plant will produce goods that substitute imports, reducing the need for $5 million worth of imported microprocessor modules, SIM cards, and payment cards. Analysts expect this could lower market production costs by 3–5%.

Vades Group aims for its output to place it among the top three producers in the CIS region by production volume. Last year, Uzbekistan imported $35 million worth of microprocessor modules, SIM cards, and various payment cards, highlighting the potential impact of domestic production on the national market.
