New heads of National Guard regional departments appointed for Andijan and Fergana

According to the press service of the government body, Lieutenant Colonel Anvar Ortikov has become head of the National Guard Department for the Andijan region.

He had previously served as deputy head of the National Guard Department for the Khorezm region for ensuring public order.

Colonel Utkirbek Halbayev, meanwhile, became the Chief of the National Guard Department for the Fergana region.

Prior to his current appointment, Halbayev had worked as First Deputy Commander of the National Guard Unit based in Chirchik, Tashkent region.
