According to a shareholders’ resolution published on 8 August, 100% of the company’s shares were transferred to Asian Chemical Group. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed, and the State Assets Management Agency (SAMA) has not issued any statements on the transaction.

Data from the Unified State Register show that Asian Chemical Group was registered in November 2024 with a charter capital of UZS 19.6 million and specializes in the production of nitrogen-based mixtures. A controlling stake of 51% is owned by OV Industrial Investments L.L.C-FZ, while the remaining 49% belongs to New Industrial Technologies. The company is headed by Ilgiz Azatovich Valiullin, who joined the plant’s supervisory board in February 2025.

The privatization of the enterprise was stipulated by a presidential decree dated 26 April 2024 and was expected to take place through a public auction. To prepare for the transaction, a working group was formed under the leadership of ASAM director Akmalkhon Ortikov, which also included the chairman of Uzkimyosanoat JSC and First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Ilhom Norkulov.
