Denis Istomin wins the ATP Almaty Challenger tournament

Denis Istomin, an Uzbek professional tennis player, won the ATP Almaty Challenger tournament in Kazakhstan, whose prize fund was $ 50,000.

Istomin, who defeated Nikola Milojević in the final, faced opponents from Portugal, Egypt, Serbia and Czech Republic in the previous stages of the tournament.

The match between Istomin and Milojević lasted nearly 3 hours, before being settled in favor of the Uzbek player (6:7, 7:6, 6:2).

By winning the tournament Istomin earned 80 points and $ 7,200 cash money.
