Lawbreakers detained in Kashkadarya region for illegal attempt of selling “Nicholas I” gold coins

In Kashkadarya region, employees of the regional prosecutor’s office detained three Uzbek citizens who tried to illegally sell “Nicholas I” gold coins, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
“Three men were detained with physical evidence for the illegal sale of 7 gold coins with the designation “Emperor Nicholas I” for 29.4 million soums. They counted each gold coin with a nominal value of 10 rubles for 4.2 million soums,” the press service noted.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated against the detainees under relevant articles of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. Investigative actions are underway.
