Two Uzbek nationals returned from Bahrain and the United States over fraud and theft cases
Two Uzbek citizens on the international wanted list have been returned to the country from Bahrain and the United States. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, one suspect is accused of fraud, while the other was wanted in connection with theft on a particularly large scale.

The man wanted for fraud was extradited from Bahrain through cooperation between the National Central Bureaus of Interpol in Tashkent and Manama. Authorities stated that the transfer was conducted via coordinated actions by the competent agencies of both countries, using Interpol’s international police cooperation channels.

Another Uzbek man, wanted on suspicion of large-scale theft, was deported from the United States. The ministry noted that the individual was located through joint operational search activities conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan.
Following negotiations and the exchange of information, U.S. authorities decided to deport the individual to Uzbekistan.
