According to the information of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur, the Government of Malaysia has introduced new regulations for foreign citizens entering the country during the period of the restricted movement regime, which was established until April 28, 2020 in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. At the same time, the term of the regime may be extended by a separate decision of the Malaysian authorities.
In accordance with the regulations, all foreigners arriving in Malaysia again must be quarantined at their own expense in the amount of 150 Malaysian ringgit ($37) per day.
The embassy calls on citizens of Uzbekistan located in Malaysia to take this requirement into account and comply with all the rules of the host country.
At the same time, we recall that the Embassy of our country in Malaysia has an Operational Headquarters to provide consular-legal assistance to citizens of Uzbekistan.
