New academic year in schools in Samarkand to begin from September 19 — MPE

The new academic year in general secondary educational institutions in Samarkand will start on September 19, the Ministry of Public Education said.

It is reported that the reason for the postponement of classes is the upcoming summit of the SCO Heads of State Council, which will be held on September 15-16 in Samarkand.

“The missed class hours of schoolchildren in the city of Samarkand will be filled during the academic year at the expense of vacations,” the report says.
