The financial report of “National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan” JSC, prepared for 2021, received a positive audit opinion from the international company “Ernst & Young” LLC

In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 24, 2020 “On additional measures for the transition to international financial reporting standards” DP-4611 consulting companies in the world as a result of the large-scale work carried out by “Ernst & Young” LLC in 2019-2020 report of “National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan” JSC, audit reports are given.
At the end of 2021, “National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan” JSC was one of the first companies in the energy industry to fully implement consolidated financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and audit it, and also one of the first to receive a positive audit opinion and won.
The audit of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS by the experts of the audit company “Ernst & Young” LLC covered the period from April 2022 to the end of June of this year.
It should be noted that the positive audit report received for three years in a row on the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS is an important step towards achieving further achievements of “National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan” JSC, including obtaining an international credit rating.
