Uzbekistan’s FTT hits $31.3 billion after 5 months of trading
According to preliminary data released by the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover reached $31.3 billion in the January–May period of 2025.

This figure marks an increase of $4.1 billion, or 15%, compared to the same period last year.
During this five-month period, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade structure was as follows:
- Exports: $14.8 billion
- Imports: $16.5 billion
Uzbekistan has maintained trade relations with 189 countries worldwide.
The largest shares in Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover were recorded with:
- China – 17.2%
- Russia – 15.4%
- Kazakhstan – 5.7%
- Turkey – 3.5%
- Republic of Korea – 2.3%
