Uzbekistan and Russia sign five-year military partnership agreement
The parties plan to conduct 50 joint events in 2025.

On January 22, the ministries of defense of Uzbekistan and Russia signed a Cooperation Plan for 2025 and a strategic partnership program in the military sphere for 2026–2030.
The signing ceremony took place during the official visit of Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov to Uzbekistan.
It was noted that the cooperation plan for 2025 between the defense ministries of Russia and Uzbekistan includes 50 joint events covering all areas of activity of the two countries' military departments.
