Shokhrukh Aminov becomes prosecutor of Karakalpakstan
Shokhrukh Aminov, formerly deputy prosecutor general of Uzbekistan, has been appointed as the new prosecutor of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
His appointment was confirmed during an extraordinary session of the Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan, which was attended by Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev.
Aminov has previously held senior positions within the prosecution system, including serving as deputy prosecutor general, as well as prosecutor of Syrdarya and Navoi regions.
Following discussions at the session, the Jokargy Kenes officially approved his candidacy and appointed him as the prosecutor of Karakalpakstan.
