UZSE turnover exceeds 90bn soums in January-April

Turnover of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) made up 90.3 billion soums in January-April 2016, which grew by 1.3 times year-on-year.
In the four months of 2016, number of deals, registered at the exchange, reached 1,377 deals, which increased by 1.7 times year-on-year. Over all 37.3 million securities of 65 joint stock companies were sold in the reporting period.
About 55.8% of total turnover or 50.4 billion soums fell to share of IPO market. The volume of IPO market rose five times in the four months of 2016 compared to the same period of 2015.
Share of the secondary market accounted 44.2% of deals or 39.9 billion soums, of which 19.3 billion soums (21.4% of exchange turnover) fell to share of the state assets.
