Homicide in Fergana. Man killed his wife

A murder was committed in Dangara district of Fergana region, the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office reports.

On September 5, 2018, a local by the name of I. (born in 1992) stabbed his wife S. (born in 1993) to death when the two were going to the Civil Registry Office to annul their marriage. The reports say the convict and his wife resided in Doimobod village of Dangara district, Fergana.

Prosecutor's office of the region initiated a criminal case under Article 97, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and investigative actions are underway.
