US dollar and euro exchange rates rose sharply
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has published new exchange rates, which will be effective from September 18, 2018.
This week, all the major foreign currencies used in Uzbekistan - the dollar, the euro and the ruble - showed uncharacteristic growth.
The dollar, which shows non-stop increase for the sixth week in line, rose by a record of 176.83 sums. Earlier, on average, it increased by 20-30 sums. Starting from tomorrow, 1 dollar will cost 8039 sums.
The euro this week has risen as much as 266.16 sums and reached the mark of 9347.75 sums.
The Russian ruble also showed uncharacteristic growth this week. Its cost increased by 5.46 sums and reached 118.5 sums.
