British Petroleum to expand its operations in Uzbekistan
Michael Denison, a Group Political Adviser at British Petroleum Company, said the enterprise is ready to expand its operations in Uzbekistan. This is reported in the “Tahlilnoma” program on “Uzbekistan 24” TV channel.
Mr. Denison stated that the company is working on exploring rich-in-mineral mines in northern Ustyurt of Karakalpakstan and in Fergana regions. The company will be using technologies that have not been utilized previously to extract hydrocarbons.
“BP intends to expand the sales of Castrol oils by establishing oil-producing enterprises in Uzbekistan,” Denison said.
Furthermore, the company plans to participate in the development of alternative energy sources project in Uzbekistan and improve energy efficiency by introducing new technologies.
