Shavkat Mirzoyoyev signs four bills into law
On Oct. 2, 2018, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev signed four bills into law.
They are:
-“On ratification of the Charter and Regulations of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries”. By ratifying the law, Uzbekistan agrees to terms and conditions of the Institute;
- “On ratification of the amendments to the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation”;
- “On ratification of the Paris Agreement”. The Paris Agreement, which was adopted on Dec. 12, 2015 and came into force on Nov. 4, 2016, is a document that regulates measures to reduce carbon dioxide emissions;
- “On declaration of April 5 the Day of State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. The law was adopted by the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on Sept. 6, 2018 and was approved by the Senate on Sept. 27, 2018.
