Pulat Bobojonov attends the First meeting of Ministers of Internal Affairs of Central Asia
Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General Pulat Bobojonov attended the First Meeting of the Ministers of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, which took place in Chulpan-Ata city, the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the Department of Public Relations and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, the sides at the meeting discussed mechanisms for improving cooperation in combating organized crime, public order in the border regions of the republics and interaction of law enforcement agencies in ensuring security.
Furthermore, the Ministers of Internal Affairs exchanged views on counteracting the spread of artificial narcotic drugs and psychoactive substances through social networks, and reached agreement on collaborating in the fight against cybercrime.
