From January to June of 2018, Google has received about 60,000 requests on the presentation of personal data of users by government agencies. This is 18% higher than the same period of 2017. Google's statistical data reports about it.
Government agencies in various countries have requested the data of over 126,000 users (52% more than the same period last year).
The highest number of requests was from the United States (20.9 thousand people). The second and third places were taken by Germany (7.4 thousand) and France (6.2 thousand) respectively.
Every six months, starting from 2011, Google publishes information on the number of requests about users' personal data from government agencies.
According to the statistics, Uzbek authorities have never attempted to request such information from Google. Kazakhstan is the only Central Asian country to do so - it has requested data 5 times (all have been rejected). The last request was done in 2016.
In order to obtain information about Google's user, a government authority must provide the document envisaged by law: a warrant, a court order, or an order for a search.
