Uzbekistan to introduce a new sample of uniforms for prisoners

Clothing of convicts, which meets climatic conditions and modern requirements, is going to be introduced in Uzbekistan. This is anticipated in the roadmap for further improvement of the criminal-executive system of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2018-2021.

It is noted that, based on advanced international experience, sample clothes for prisoners, which can meet climatic conditions and modern requirements, will be fabricated.

It is planned to test the sample clothing in the penal institution in Chirchik city, Tashkent region and to improve it on the basis of studying the convicts' opinions.

The new model of clothing for prisoners’ will be introduced gradually and the Ministry of Interior will be responsible for it.
