Chinese businessmen to invest in construction projects in Uzbekistan
Yuan Yajie, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Commerce of Hubei Province, China, along with representatives of provincial business circles arrived in Uzbekistan.
The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the investment potential and current economic reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, to invest in promising projects in various regions of the country and to establish close business contacts with Uzbek enterprises.
The delegation of Hubei Province was met at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, where Uzbek and Chinese entrepreneurs discussed prospects for trade-economic relations.
It should be noted that the Hubei Province is one of the most economically developed areas of China. Its economy ranks 11th in the country and its nominal GDP for 2017 was $ 540.94 billion. Hubei is well known for its mines of fine turquoise and green faustite.
