Delegation of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences visits Uzbekistan
On October 29-31, a delegation of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus visits the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Belarusian embassy in Tashkent reported.
The delegation includes heads and experts of organizations of the Belarusian NAS. They will hold talks with Uzbek colleagues in four main directions: physics and new materials, biotechnology, technologies for the agro-industrial complex and humanitarian sciences.
In the framework of the meeting, on October 29, in the Academy of Sciences (AS) of Uzbekistan, Leonid Marinich, the Belarusian ambassador to Uzbekistan and members of the Belarusian delegation held talks with the Uzbek leaders of the Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Innovation Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Agreements on holding a joint Belarusian-Uzbek competition of scientific projects have been reached with Yulbars Mansurov, the Deputy Minister of Innovation Development of Uzbekistan.
The ambassador of Belarus to Uzbekistan Leonid Marinich presented the honorary badge of the Belarusian NAS to B. Yuldashev, the president of the AS of Uzbekistan.
