Uzbek-British Trade and Industry Council to be held in Tashkent
On November 1, 2018, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with Rupert Ainley, the Director of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia Directorate of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the press service of the MFA reports.
During the meeting, prospects for the development of relations between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom, joint events, including bilateral meetings and negotiations at various levels, were discussed.
It was noted that the parties are preparing to hold the next meeting of the Uzbek-British Trade and Industry Council in Tashkent, which is intended to intensify trade, economic, investment relations and lead to concrete results.
British Ambassador Christopher Alan took part in the talks.
