Employment record books to be replaced by electronic database in Uzbekistan
In 2019, Uzbekistan will cease the use of employment record books. It will be replaced by an electronic database, the Deputy Finance Minister Dilshod Sultanov said at the conference on implementation and determination of the main parameters of the State Budget in 2019.
“Employment record book system has been inherited from the USSR period and it is very uncomfortable. It is high time to negate them. Starting from 2019, employees will not have to open employment record books, they will simply need to submit their data to the electronic database,” Dilshod Sultanov said.
The intended database reflects all employment history and income of the employee. Any necessary information can be obtained by entering the employee's passport details into the database.
“Currently, the tax office is developing the base of this electronic system and it's almost ready. Now, you can now see your monthly wage at the Telegram bot @oylikuzbot. This bot provides you the information about your salary and detained tax. In addition, it will show the percentage of payment in cash and on plastic cards,” the Deputy Finance Minister added.
