Doston Yakubov won a silver medal in weightlifting

Weightlifting World Cup continues in Ashgabat, the Turkmen capital. In the weight category up to 67 kg, Uzbekistan bagged the first medal in the tournament.

Doston Yakubov, who took part in competitions in the weight class up to 67 kg, lifted 139 kg in snatch and 180 kg in jerk. His total result was 319 kg. Yakubov won a silver medal in the jerk lift.

It is worth noting that Ruslan Nurutdinov (105 kg) and Rustam Jangabayev (+109 kg), representatives of the Uzbek team, will take part in competitions on November 9-10.
