Uzbekistan, Belarus signed a roadmap on the development of cooperation
On November 2, 2018, the Belarusian PM Sergei Rumas and the Uzbek PM Abdulla Aripov signed a roadmap for the development of cooperation between the two countries.

In accordance with the press service of the government of Belarus, the roadmap includes more than 100 events for the development of bilateral trade in goods and services, providing mutual access to the markets of parties, cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation, agriculture, light industry, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, construction, petro-chemistry and energy. The block of events covers humanitarian cooperation and development of interregional cooperation as well as establishment of sister-city relations.
Thus, it is planned to supply Uzbekistan with Belarusian wood products and consumer goods, MAZ trucks for $ 2million and MTZ tractors for $ 5 million. BelAZ is ready to take part in tenders for the supply of machinery. The sides will organize bilateral provision of foodstuffs and work out possible exports of Belarusian malt and sugar. Uzbekistan is ready to increase the supply of dried fruits.
The volume of mutual trade in fruit and vegetable and other products should grow to $ 10 million per annum. A trading house or a store of Uzbek goods may appear in Minsk.

Belarus and Uzbekistan will work on the creation of joint production of milk, medicines, medical equipment, mini-tractors and attachments, as well as bicycles, a joint enterprise of transport and logistics. Belarusian organizations will help Uzbekistan to build modern dairy farms.
Belarus, also, intends to enter the Uzbek cotton-textile cluster. For this purpose, factories specialized in spinning and weaving will be established jointly.
