Deputy khokim of Surkhandarya region and regional prosecutor are dismissed

Ulugbek Akhunov, deputy khokim of Surkhandarya region on agriculture and water management, and regional prosecutor Uktam Saidov were dismissed from their posts due to being transferred to other job positions.

On November 8, at the meeting attended by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and head of the Presidential Administration Zaynilobiddin Nizomiddinov, which took place at the Termez city khokimiyat, Mr. Akhunov and Mr. Saidov were relieved of their duties.

Rakhmatulla Gapparov, erstwhile head of the regional agricultural department, has replaced Ulugbek Akhunov and Ulugbek Kosimov, regional governor of Denov district, was appointed to the post of the Surkhandarya Regional Prosecutor.
