Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Turkey may become Ambassador to Uzbekistan
Ibragim Junusov may become the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan.
His candidacy is submitted to the Jogorku Kenesh and on November 13 will be considered by the JK Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security.
Mr. Junusov currently works as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey.
It should be noted that Kyrgyzstan has no ambassador to Uzbekistan since March 5, 2018 - now Daniyar Sydykov serves as the head of the foreign policy department of the Kyrgyz President’s Office.
