Kyrgyz Deputy: “Uzbekistan now wants to open a Eurasian data center, and our government is still not ready”
Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyzstan Umbetaly Kydyraliyev (Ata-Jurt Party) on November 15 was outraged that yesterday at a meeting of the parliament the bill “On ratification of the Financing Agreement (Digital CASA - Kyrgyz Republic project) between the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Development Association”, signed on July 2, 2018 in the city of Bishkek, did not pass in the first reading.
“What does it mean? It means that the government was not prepared. Until December, we should have passed the bill in the third reading. But we were unable to stay firm in our decision,” U. Kydyraliyev noted.
“Uzbekistan now wants to open a Eurasian data center, all independent experts are advising to open in Kyrgyzstan, because the laws are flexible, but the government of the Kyrgyz Republic cannot sign a single bill into law,” the deputy said indignantly.
