Uzbekistan increased natural gas exports by 1,5 times
In the first 10 months of this year, Uzbekistan increased the natural gas exports by 58% compared to last year. According to the State Statistics Committee, natural gas exports totaled $1,8 billion since the beginning of 2018.
Natural gas has become the main product of the Uzbek export. Its share in total exports was 18%.
The main importers of the Uzbek natural gas are Russia, China and Tajikistan.
In March 2018, gas distribution companies of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan signed an agreement to supply 126 million cubic meters of natural gas worth $15,1 million.
Earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan plans to supply China with natural gas during winter this year and in 2019.
Over the past 10 months, Uzbekistan has increased the natural gas production by 6,8% and gas condensate - by 10.5%.
