General Prosecutor's Office discovered embezzlement of funds in a kindergarten of the capital

In accordance with the report of press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, on September 20, 2018, the district prosecutor's office conducted pre-investigation inspections on the facts of infringements committed at the nursery 197 of “Shaykhontokhur” district of Tashkent.

According to the results of the investigation, on September 22, a criminal case was filed against the officials of the pre-school educational institution 197 under the article 167, paragraph “a” of Part of the Criminal code.

Reportedly, it was identified that in 2016-2018, substantial budgetary funds were infringed by the way of unreasonable and illegal payment of wages.

In this regard, the Internal Audit and Financial Control Department of the Ministry of Pre-school Education conducted an operational inspection at the kindergarten 197 and collected evidence was included in the file of criminal case.
