Tajik Government to grant tax exemptions to certain Uzbek, Chinese and Turkmen companies
Government of Tajikistan is planning to grant tax exemptions to certain Uzbek, Chinese and Turkmen companies, who are involved in financing the construction of social facilities in the republic, Tajik media reported.
In compliance with the proposal of the government, amendments are to be introduced to the country’s law on the national budget for the coming year. Thus, 2 Uzbek, 2 Chinese and 1 Turkmen company will be exempted from paying value added tax, income tax and tax on road users for their contribution to financing construction of schools and hospitals.
It should be noted that 2 Uzbek companies are financing construction of a school in the Spitamen district and a medical center in the Qubodiyon district.
