Awarding ceremony of the best Uzbek scientists in Tashkent kicked off

The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education jointly with the Dutch company Elsevier will organize a solemn awarding ceremony of the most productive scientists based on Scopus scientific and analytical database.

The event will be held on November 23 at Tashkent State University of Economics. It will be attended by the heads of ministries and agencies, representatives of leading rating bodies such as QS and Times Higher Education, heads of Elsevier Company, foreign specialists and rectors of higher education institutions of Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of the event, it is planned to hold the first scientific forum, where master classes on writing articles, indexing scientific journals and teaching methodology of access to international ratings will be organized.

For information, on March 23, 2018, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and Elsevier Company signed the “Science-2020” Program, which is aimed at enhancing the scientific potential of the country’s higher educational institutions and promoting their recognition by the world’s leading rating agencies.
