Uzbek Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education expands co-op with foreign education institutions
The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education held meetings with delegations from a number of countries to discuss cooperation issues in education, the press service of the Ministry said.
Inomjon Majidov, the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, noted that the main goal of reforms carried out at all stages of education in the country is to train highly professional and competitive personnel.
During the talks with members of Acumen Education (United Kingdom), issues of strengthening partnership in higher education and personnel training with leadership qualities and high intellectual potential were considered.
The same negotiations took place with representatives of Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture. It was noted that India’s higher education institutions began accepting documents from Uzbekistan citizens.
At the meeting with delegation of Shinhan University (South Korea), issues of medical education were discussed in detail, in particular, strengthening partnership between the two countries in training qualified nurses and ensuring their employment.
Following the negotiations, prospects for further expansion of cooperation in education were identified.
